    The Teen Parent Centre awards two students $1,000.00 annually. You must be a grade 12 student from a Yukon secondary school and be accepted to an eligible institution Minimum 1 -year program. Single parent (maximum age 25).

    Description:

    The Teen Parent Centre is a place where students who are either expecting or are already parents can go for support to complete their high school education. The Centre is for students who need more support than is available in the regular school system due to pregnancy or the demands of child care. Young mothers are encouraged to take part in the program both during and after pregnancy. Students at the Teen Parent Centre also take classes that cover prenatal care, parenting and child care.
